Hayward Unified School District - YEP

The Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) serves students in grades TK-12 at 27 schools in Hayward Unified School District, offering educational, enrichment, and recreational programs where students grow socially, emotionally, and physically in a safe, supportive environment Backlinko. This video captures the program's multigenerational impact through the voices of those who know it best.

As Creative Producer, Co-Director, and Interviewer for Robot Productions, I conducted interviews with parents, students, and staff—many of whom are YEP alumni—showcasing how the after-school program has shaped multiple generations in the Hayward community. The documentary-style approach highlights the program's role in academic support, enrichment activities, and building community connections that last well beyond graduation.

The video effectively communicates YEP's value to stakeholders and prospective families, demonstrating how quality after-school programming creates lasting educational and social impact.
